Printing

Any one who has a poster design, post it ASAP. It would be nice to have a few to choose from. Wouldn't it be exciting to have something you designed plastered and distributed all over Orlando?     I will be sending over my files tonight. I still have to touch a few things up and get everything ready for print. Who is taking these to the printer and who are we printing with? If the person in charge of this would like to call me, please do. My number is 727-481-8083

    I think we were going to go with the Project Spot or DIPL on campus unless someone else found a better deal. I forget who was going to talk to Kinkos about them sponsoring us.

    Also, I don't think I'll be making a poster design. I was going to give it a try but my CS3 is all sorts of fucked up and I need to get CS4. I'm not very good with graphic design programs anyhow so I probably wouldn't have made anything we would want to use, haha.

    I'm taking care of it. I'm shopping around right now, and I would love to give the files to the printer by tomorrow. Some of the printers said they would e-mail me a qoute tonight so we'll see what happens.

    well even if I gave the files to the print shop tomorrow they're not going to start the job until Monday. I am still waiting for responses about possible sponsorship anyways, so if you want to send me an image go ahead. Michelle I like the image, but I think I might mess with the text a little bit if thats ok with you?

    PLEASE BEFORE ANY PRINTING: OUC, Fields Motorcars and UCF Catering Services MUST be on them. I have the UCF Catering Services LOGO and can send it tomorrow (Friday Morning) from work. feel free to contact me if you need it. I spoke with Danielle who has the original files and I will send it to her to place them on them.

    Kyle, I haven't sent you those files yet because i'm waiting on a couple of logos that need to be added. Are there any more sponsors that we need to include?? This is important to find out before we print everything because we want to make sure everyone sponsoring us in included.

    Michelle, do you have an image that you thik would work for an 11x17 poster. We already have a couple of images for the flyers. I think it would be better for us to have more variety for the posters. If you have something just email me the image and I will put the text on if you want. with my photoshop mastery it dosn't take very long. ha

    DIPL's prices are based on paper size, so you could fit more than one image on a sheet:

    8.5x11 - 1
    11x14 - 2
    11x17 - 2.50
    13x19 - 3

    Wait a $1.00 per page? That is way expensive even if we did 1/4 sheet flyers. For $125 bucks we'd only get 500 flyers? Through printing services on campus its 1500 1/4 sheet FULL COLOR Flyers for $186 or so.
    KYLE: I need your email. Also, what are the quotes you received?? What have you gathered for posters? Flyers are just the light bulb graphic we already have and your trying to get different posters?
