ReplyDeletei called and asked however our contact there had already gone home for the day. he will be back in tomorrow at 9. i will call him promptly at 9 to get everything straightened out. jasmine if you want to be there at 10:30, i will be there and i'll make sure we have everything ready to go. i'm not sure if we'll need your trailer or not. here is the list:

134 studs is a lot but also remember we won't be picking up the drywall until monday either. this is not very bad
We're supposed to have 7 sheets of masonite/hardboard.

I also don't see 2x3" studs, were these replaced with 2x4's?
We also need polyurethane.
So, what I noticed not on the list:
7 masonite
1 sanded pine plywood
26? 2x3" studs
1 quart polyurethane
i'll change it to 7 masonites but after talking it over with theo we're going to use MDF and paint it instead of the plywood. this saves us money on the substrate and on the polyurethane, and since we're painting the studs on the pedestals anyway, the top will go better with the bottom, and the pedestals will match the walls. we replaced the 2x3s with 2x4 because it made things simpler and they were 10 cents cheaper than the price you'd given me.

ReplyDeleteEthan, I had told Jasmine 9am and she hasn't responded to my text I just sent alerting her to the time change. I'm going to tell her to call you or me in the morning to double check the time. I was going to meet her at 9 but I'm not sure if I can make it at 10:30 since I have class, so I guess if you can be there that will be good. I'll be on campus to help with unloading and all that.

ReplyDeletewe have supplies. we unloaded them into the sculpture studio. we had to stack them in probably the worst place that we could, sooo we need to get things together in there asap so we don't wake the angry bear that is isenhour. i'll be in there at 1:30 after my class...make that 2, i want some lunch, in case anyone is available and wants to get started.
